Privacy, and who runs Commonstop

Who runs it

What happens to a requirement

We keep the requirement you send (what, how much, where, when and at what budget) with a reference number, and look at every one. When we can source it or get it quoted, we reply to the email you leave. To do that we may describe the requirement to suppliers, but never with your name or contact details unless you agree. Nothing is ordered or committed until you agree terms.

What we keep

The requirement you send. Email addresses or phone numbers typed into a requirement's text are removed before it is stored. For each visit we keep a daily visitor key (a hash that cannot link visits across days), the kind of browser or software, the referring site and the country; we keep no IP addresses.

Your contact details

Contact details, if you give them, are stored apart from the requirement and used to answer you and to recognise you if you write again, so a later request continues your earlier conversation. We keep them while we are corresponding or doing business with you, and for 6 months after our last correspondence; a business here may state a different period on its own page. Then they are deleted. If you place an order, its record (what was agreed, delivered and paid, and the contact details needed for it) is kept for 7 years for tax and accounting. A request sent while a page said contact details are deleted after 180 days keeps that promise: those details are deleted 180 days after the request, unless an order was placed. To have your contact details deleted at any time, write to privacy@forevenza.com from the address you gave; copies in our backups are overwritten within 30 days. If you ask us not to write to you, that request is kept as a one-way key after your details are deleted, so it keeps working.

How we use it

To run the service, to reply if you asked us to, and to understand which needs the service should cover so we can improve it. We don't sell your details or share your contact details with anyone.
