Records
Manifests in your name
Your office generates the waste. The record of where it went should name your practice and stay with you, whoever collects it.
What a work order asks providers to commit to
- Each pickup produces a shipment record that names your practice as the generator.
- The record lists what was collected that day: containers, sizes and counts.
- Records are sent to you, so you can produce them without asking anyone.
- If you change provider again, your history stays with you.
Commonstop makes these a condition of any proposal it sends you. They appear in the provider's written terms before you agree anything.

Small or large quantity generator
Texas classes medical waste generators by site: 50 lb or less a month is a small quantity generator, more than 50 lb a month a large quantity generator (TCEQ). Many small offices don't know their monthly weight. Your recent manifests usually show it: forward them with your order and we read them with you.
Texas medical waste rules sit in 30 TAC Chapter 326, administered by TCEQ. Which records your office keeps, and for how long, depends on how your waste is handled; we confirm that with you for your plan.
