Shared routes
How a shared neighbourhood route works
Put nearby stops into one service brief. We seek provider terms for a shared trip, with separate records for every practice.
One office, one trip
A dedicated trip is one way to serve an office. The diagram isolates the travel involved; it does not represent your current provider or explain their invoice.
Several offices, one trip
Grouping suitable stops can spread travel across a route. Commonstop seeks terms on that basis and compares scope, minimums and fees. Actual economics depend on the provider's offer, not the number of dots on a diagram. Shared routing alone does not promise savings.
Frequency is the other half
If your containers are half full when the driver comes, half of every visit collects empty space. The fill line on the work order sizes frequency to what you actually fill, so the stop you share is also a stop you need.
What Commonstop organizes
- Provider terms for your area and frequency, priced from your work order.
- Container supply and exchange in the sizes on your order.
- A start timed around your current agreement and its notice terms.
- Manifests and service records in your practice's name, sent to you.
- One email thread for all of it, from first reply to start.
After you send a work order
- We read it, including the questions it raises: weight, contract end, anything outside this pickup.
- We price the plan with providers serving your area at the frequency you chose.
- We email you an indicative monthly price with the provider's terms. It is nonbinding.
- You decide. Nothing is ordered or committed until you agree terms in writing.
